Obtaining a Top Secret security clearance can take a long time and you better believe the process is invasive. You’ll have federal investigators interviewing your neighbors, bosses, and that one teacher you rolled your eyes at! But the process is worth it. You’ll be exposed to America’s most sensitive information that could cause exceptionally grave danger if the enemy gets its hand on it. This information will be entrusted to you! Big responsibility…I know.
On a side note, you may still need a higher clearance than what is normal for your career field, depending on your assignment and the mission of the unit…
