Article 31: Compulsory Self-Incrimination prohibited

If you are suspected of a crime, you cannot be questioned without first being informed of the nature of the offense; You do not have to make a statement regarding the offense. 

Any statement you make after a rights advisement may be used as evidence against you You have the right to an attorney

  • An ADC can be appointed to you free of charge. You may also chose a civilian attorney to act on your behalf, but you must pay the cost of the civilian attorney 

You have the right to stop questioning at any time
